Ana S. Gad is the pen name of a Dubai-based, internationally acclaimed Serbian writer, researcher, media professional, and digital artist. With a multifaceted creative journey, Ana has seamlessly blended literature, design, and visual arts to establish her distinct artistic voice.  

 

Her passion for art began during her primary school years, earning her early accolades for watercolor artworks. This artistic spark rekindled alongside her literary career, particularly in 2002, when she designed the cover for her first poetry book. This milestone ignited her interest in graphic design, leading her to create numerous book covers—both for her works and for other authors.  

 

In 2017, Ana launched Alia Mundi, a magazine dedicated to cultural diversity, for which she served as both designer and editor. This was followed by Enheduana, a digital literary magazine, where Ana's artistic sensibilities shaped its design and layout. She further showcased her versatility by creating and managing websites for both publications, alongside other editorial web projects.  

 

By 2020, Ana’s artistic focus expanded into digital art. She began exhibiting her works in virtual exhibitions across Venezuela, Mexico, Lithuania, Hungary, and the USA. In 2024, she delved into digital collage art, completing a workshop organized by Europeana. Since relocating to Dubai in June 2024, Ana has actively exhibited her digital collage pieces in prominent art spaces and galleries across the city, including Mercure Dubai Deira Hotel, More Café, ISOAG in Safa Complex, and Human Vision Art Exhibition at the Omniyat Center for People With Determination organized on the occasion of the UAE National Daz 53. She also contributed to a virtual exhibition curated by SAKKU ART Dubai.  

 

Her works have garnered international recognition, with exhibits in A Brush for a Cause in Jordan, Peru Bienal in Peru, and the *International Art Festival* in Busan, South Korea.  

 

Ana’s digital art is a fusion of her photography, AI-generated visuals, and advanced digital editing techniques. Her artworks explore themes of modernity versus heritage, nature versus urban life, and the interplay of art with contemporary and traditional elements. Inspired by the vibrant cultural heritage of the UAE and the ever-evolving cityscapes of Dubai, Ana creates pieces that blend iconic skylines, landmarks, floral motifs, and captivating depictions of women. Some of her works also pay homage to celebrities who have left an indelible mark on global cultural history.  

 

Her artistic process thrives on experimentation—merging the unthinkable, playing with form and color, and pushing creative boundaries to bring her unique vision to life.
